I had the links to dealerships that were similiar to Southwest superbikes. I think one is in Arlington and one is in Sherman. I looked them up not too long ago but can not remember what they hell they were called. I already tried searching in the forum for anything close to it and couldn't find anything but southwest superbikes. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

The Sherman one you are talking about is probably Sherman Power Sports. Every time I go in there I leave wondering why I ever came back. I hate going there. They make you feel like crap. They talk down to you and act all high and mighty. I've never had a pleasant experience with those guys and I've talked with most of their salesmen. They do have a fair selection of bikes though. I just would never be able to justify giving those dicks any of my money. Good luck man, their # is 903-868-3030.

Why would anyone buy from SW superbikes? Is it just me or does anyone else feel tentative about buying a bike they know nothing about and have no history of?
I have been there and was never impressed.Their prices seem high and I always had a general distrust of the stories behind their bikes.Makes me wonder if some had been wrecked and put back together.
If i am in the market for a bike, I will stick with private owners.I went to GP cycles once and remember it being like a tote-the-note lot for cycles.
No thanks.

You can get financing through southwest superbikes for a bike. Because a bike is considered a recreational vehicle, my credit union wont finance a bike from a private owner.

Sounds like you need to find another credit union. I financed my Blackbird and it was from an individual.

I had no credit at the time..really narrows up your options when you dont want to buy a new bike.

i normally don't like to bad mouth people or businesses, but the few times i've been up there always gave me a creepy vibe. just the way they handled bikes on the dyno, i'd be afraid of anything that was done out of the public eye. seemed like a bunch of sleezy crooked mechanics to me. again, my humble opinion.

as far as financing, you might look into one of those convenience checks from a credit card, they're usually like 3%, write the check out to yourself, no bs at the bank. just don't miss a payment of it goes sky high.

Which leads me to believe that those dealers are basically a tote-the-note type outfit that overcharge on there shit and rape you on finance charges.I don't care how bad i wanted a bike, I would never play that game for questionable products.

yeah i worked at honda suzuki north for about 6 months last summer- before that plano kawasaki suzuki and plano honda- it actually not hard at all to get financed- the two biggest concerns are usually a cosigner and if you have bad credit - high APR.

They would finance me on the new bikes, but not the used bikes. Suzuki also pissed me off to the point that I will never buy a new bike from the dealer.
