I'm getting ready to have to replace the back tire on my bike for the first time. I've got 4,598 miles on it. I have heard some people can only get around 3,000 miles on them.
My mileage includes about 20-30 1/4 mile passes on it also!!! :p

I have only gotten about $8K at most on my Honda Magna. Not sure what the norm is for sportbikes.

I got about 4500 out of my stock tire. Changed it when the cord was about to show. Those were Dunlop 218s, now I have Pilot Powers

I get about 3k, but I'm hard on em. My front tire might last 5k, but I like to roll a few endos.

LOL. Thats a lot of freaking miles! You must be running some rock hard tires or something! Better get that front tire changed asap! Just ask slowvert and stallion what happens when that front tire gets bad! :D

what do you have done to your sportster? Cause i ride a 2005 1200 custom and it does not come up in first? and sure as hell doesnt spin 3rd unless the road is wet? These things are turds compared to any sportbike...
