I remember posting up about this guy last year, he makes some pretty sick R1's IMO. Some quality parts with a price tag to match.

BPD quick-shift system allows clutchless full-throttle shifting like a Superbike.

The JJP-R1 boasts a front brake setup that is racebike trick, with two master cylinders and dual radial-mount pistons.

You complaining?
just saying, its something anyone could do. not saying i wouldnt take it in a heartbeat, but I can break open a catalog and make the same bike. nothing fabbed, one-off or any special engine work. still a badass bike tho

its quality that goes with the bolt ons. If you were to do it yourself bottlefaggot then Im sure the front brakes would be squish central, with prob one of the two masters working, the bpd shift unit would get tangled in the chain, and the exhaust would leak like a mac header on a 5.0.

is that clutchless shift adapter a common thing on sportsbikes  although it seems neat, wouldnt that kind of be looked down upon by the full manual riders?

I wouldn't think so. It's not exactly the same comparison as say a manual transmission in a car and an automatic.

if its like what im thinking of its like those semi-automatic transmissions on Quads (ATV's) where you dont have a clutch, you just pull up with your foot.

Yes. Don't think it works for downshifting though.

It allows for full throttle up shifts. Im not exactly sure how it works, but I think it cuts the motor for a split second giving it just enough room for an upshift (like a normal clutchless upshift but 1000x as fast). I could be completely wrong, but it makes sense. And no, it doesnt work for downshifts. I dont think you would want that anyway

I can think of alot of other vehicles I would much rather have for 40k

Yes I believe it cuts the motor's ignition when you go to shift it so it will just slide into gear.

LMAO! I wouldn't think I'd want it to work on downshifts either :D
