Our federal government makes some of the worst policy decisions during crisis periods, due to knee jerk reactions. Hurricane Katrina is about to cause one of those bad policy decisions. People complaining about the federal government not doing enough and fast enough is going to force the government to remove or modify the posse comitatius act. We don't need the federal government to sending in federal troops every time a crisis arises. Crises need to be handled at the local level where people in the community are help people they know, not federal troops from North Carolina busting heads of people they don't know in Texas.
