I have a 2000 GT and I bought it used about 3 years ago and when I got it the driver side door lock didn't work, you had to do it manually for it to lock. So I had the dealer fix it. Well now its done it again. Driver side does not work and passenger side is fading slowly. My question is how much does it cost to get that fixed? Also, I heard that it is quite the problem for mustangs is that true?
Thanks for your help!

I never had that problem with my 2000 GT and had it for four years.

This is a common problem. Our 02 mustang's drivers lock quit working about a month ago. I have heard of many others as well.
The factory actuators go out all the time on Fords.
It is easiest to use factory actuators but aftermarket actuators are less expensive. Depends upon your installation capabilities which way to go IMO. I used aftermarket actuators because I could not justify the factory cost.
