I have just signed a national petition urging our elected
officials to do everything in their power to Secure Our
Borders and stop the flow of illegal aliens entering
into our nation.

This is an issue of national security that demands your
immediate attention. Please click below for more information:

Estimates put the illegal population as high as 10-13 million,
with more crossing each and every day--taxing our legal system,
our hospitals, spiking crime rates and stealing critically
needed benefits:

++ In 2004, 1.15 million illegals were apprehended.
That is more than 3,100 every day, and a 24 percent
increase over 2003.
++ Of the 1.15 million, 23,000 had criminal records.
84 were murder suspects, 37 were suspected kidnappers,
151 were wanted on sexual assault charges, 313 were
robbery suspects, and nearly 2,700 were implicated on
drug-related charges.
++ In 2004, Border Agents made 8,577 drug seizures and
confiscated 1.4 million pounds of illegal narcotics with
an estimated street value of $1.62 billion.

(Taken from a Washington Times Report).

Given these kinds of statistics, and the serious threat to our
national security, it is time to put the "illegal" back into
illegal immigration, and Secure Our Borders!

+ + 225,000 Citizen Petitions Needed

Grassfire is urging citizens from across the nation to take
immediate action with us by signing our petition to "Secure
Our Borders":

http://www.grassfire.org/42/petition.asp?PID=8665876&NID=1

This issue poses a very real threat to every man, woman and child
living in our nation, and demands attention. That's why Grassfire
wants to rally 225,000 citizen responses to present them to key
lawmakers--demanding they make the issue of illegal immigration
a NUMBER ONE PRIORITY this year.

Unless strong, decisive action is taken, the flow of illegals into
our nation will only increase, and further threaten the lifestyles
of American citizens.

Thanks for taking action with us.

Grassfire.org Alliance

P.S. This is a total grassroots effort whose success depends wholly
on you. After signing this petition, please alert your friends,
family, and co-workers, letting them know that Grassfire is
standing up for secure borders and a secure nation!

Thanks for your help.

We need to fine each business $10,000 per illegal alien. A whistle blower can make half the take. There would be no need for more border patrol agents. All the unemployed people will leave, hopefully to Canada. They want people to go there.

What really needs to happen is the INS needs to work with the IRS & Social Security Administration. Most companies that employ illegal aliens have no idea that illegal aliens work there. They have no way of knowing either, these illegals usually have forged SS cards, Birth certificates, etc. How is a business owner to spot a fake?

The IRS is the entity that has the most power to spot a fake. These businesses pay taxes to the IRS for these individuals. If the IRS recieves taxes for a SSN that they should not recieve taxes for, then there is your illegal. The same goes for the social security administration. If they recieve retirement benefits for someone who should not get them, then there is your illegal. As Carlos Mencia says, "Out the Beaner"

If the INS closes this loophole, then it will become a LOT more difficult for illegals to find work in this country. If work becomes too difficult to find, then the flow of illegals across the border will slow.

Just my $0.02

$10 background search will tell you if the person is who they say they are.

What about all of the construction guys who get their workers from "day labor" sites, knowing damn well they aren't legal, and pay them at the end of the day. The police need to get their shit together too... I don't know if it's just here, or in all of Texas, but illegals can call the cops now, and even if the cops find out they're not legal citizens, they're not allowed to report them  .
