What do you mean by old and new? Both are 2006's.

Comparatively it is like the F150 Classic a few years ago. When the new body style came out, they still had the Classic body for a few years.

The R6 is the new redesign. The R6S is the old body style (i.e. 05 model) and they say they will lower the price on that one. Prices to hit on Sept. 28.

I just noticed the changes, my bad. Good analogy with the F150's.

I'd like to see how much lower thay are talking about. It may be something stupid like $100 - $200.

I love the exhaust. (I love the Buell's exahust also) The R6s will have different bodywork, and it also went back to the regular forks. The R6 will have the inverted forks. I bet the R6s will be couple of thou cheaper but still offer great performance and for those who want to step up the performance, they'll pay up for the R6

I'd love to have the 06-R6 My old R6 is enough quickness for the street, I'm having plenty fun on it.

I like it. It looks a lot better than what comes on the R6s. Freaking huge azz looking beastly exhaust can that prolly weighs a ton!
