George "Crooked" Bush.............Nuff said.
I'm down to riding the Bike, went 170 miles on 3.5 Gallons.
Thats going to keep me about 25 per week instead of 50+ unless The pres thinks were not paying enough and figures we need to line his pockets some more. I don't know who's really getting the money but someone is, and it ain't me.

Its getting to the point where if I need milk from the store down the street...Id rather walk it after 8:00 than waste the gas.

Pretty soon everyone in dfw will own a sportbike or some kind of motorcycle to cut down on cost of gas.

yet they will still own their $45,000 Navigator and go out and purchase a new $9000 bike. But then again I guess they will save $9000 in gas with the bike... eventually.

I'm saving ~55 bucks a week on gas. That'll pay for my insurance and gas plenty of times over before i get rid of this thing.

I'm lucky in a sense. I live about 4 miles from UT here in Austin and there is a bus that runs from 7am-11pm everyday except Saturday (reduced schedule on Sunday), so I don't have to drive hardly anywhere now. If I need to go get groceries I'll walk the 1/2 mile to the store and just push the shopping cart back to my apartment (the stores and the cops don't care).
True though that right now I'm mad that I can't go and cruise around everyday... :(
