Did I hear that right? A 5.7 QB rating? The grumblings in Houston will be at a roar by game 2 if this continues.

He had a bad day in a preseason game and is considered a bust? If they had someone who could give him some time to get the ball off i think he would have a pretty damn good career.

Just shows how hard it is to analyze who will make it in the NFL at qb.
But i agree, put a good line in front of him and give him some more time.Drew Brees looks like he might make it and i would have predicted Carr to have a brighter future than Brees.

Sorry man, THEY, being the city of Houston betrayed me when they ousted the Oilers.

Unfortunately my sarcasm wasn't picked up in my comment. Carr is a sub-par QB and so is Volek. Volek got hot last season but I doubt he could go a whole season putting up some of the #'s he did in a few of his games.

I was unsure of the sarcasm, so I added a semi-sarcastic response to cover both bases :D

what about Chad Hutchinson's 0.0 passer rating last preseason game? how can an NFL QB be so sucky as to have a 0 passer rating. Hell I think I could even do better than that. Hutch's preseason rating is 23 according to ESPN.com.

Totally NOT a bust. Ya don't rag on him too bad after one game. He just needs a TE that can catch and a # 2 WR that can run routes.

Don't they have Jabar Gaffney as a 2nd receiver? I remember him being stone cold at Florida. I guess he's not cutting it in the league.

I believe that in his last contest he went 1-5 for two picks and 4 yards, if I read correctly......

Houston, we'll trade Drew Henson for him... Just let the Cowboys know
