The Cruise better kick ass cause...

I just spent an extra $70 to make it out there. I got a call today that my converter was ready and the total was $160 w/regular UPS ground. Nextday air was $230 total. :mad:
So i'll get my converter tomorrow and throw it in on Saturday.

BTW, i broke it last night at redline for test-n-tune. pulled it last night and figured out what went wrong and ordered the billitt parts this morning. i don't think anyone can top that just to make the cruise.lol

Not yet - the heads are still at Keith Craft's shop and Paul is ceramic coating the headers for me.

I've got no idea what the car will run with what I've done so far... hoping for a 13.3 in the 1/4, whatever that equates to in the 1/8th.

Keith has a shop in Arkansas? or something and he has stuff sent there to be machined as opposed to setting up a machine shop at his satellite shops. I guess he didn't send a driver to Dallas to bring the heads back this week...

I told Paul not to rush on the headers 'cause I knew it would end up taking a while with the heads when I found out they had to send them to another shop to get done.

I'm not in any big rush anyways. I've got a ton of little stuff I've got to round up before I do the head swap (oil pan gasket, engine mounts, gasket sets, head bolts, etc). Figure I'll knock a ton of little stuff out while I've got the engine stripped down that far and everything's easy to get to.
