My 03 banshee beats my 91 coupe!!!
Saterday night at redline my stock coupe ran a 10.02 @ 69.89mph.
My banshee ran a 9.92 @ 70.10mph.
I was not impressed with my car, but my banshee on the other hand surprised the shit out me. Flying down the track on a quad at 70mph is a rush.
Looks like it's time to put some $$$ into my car and leave my banshee alone.

All it's got is 373s and cold air.... Yea it needs some work.

yeah its either sick or you need more seat time. most stock cars no gears at all run in the low mid 9's. But i know i couldnt drive mine for shit when i first got it either.

It's AOD. With street radials. I was having a hell of a time hookin up.

a guy i know has a 88 speed density aod car with nothing done to it but glass packs (yea i know he was dumb for putting those on it) but he went 9.6-9.7 all day on stock gears and this car is worn out burning oil so your car must be really sick. Time for a tune up

Just did all that. Everything was done to the car so it would run a decent time, but it didn't. Hell even my reaction time was ok at .6317. I don't know what the deal is. Just needs more work.

Your reaction time is not very good, but as you know it does not affect your E.T. at all. What was your 60' time? I bet it is 2.3 or higher.

He only ran twice, his clutch started slipping on him and we think he's got a blown head gasket.
1st run: 9.05 @84.83mph. he blew the tires off all the way down the track.
2nd run: 8.5676 @82.92mph. Hooked up good, but the clutch started slipping.
He decided to leave the car alone and use it as is daily. Now he's going to finish his 69 stang. Big block 460.

I use to spank my car with my dirt bike. low 9s to a 8.3 best on the 94 cr 250.

Like I said, it's going to take some work. Any and all suggestions would be great.
To start off the car should already run better than it is. I have to find the problem to fix it.

For about 4k that banshee will go low 6's to high 5's. :D

You pretty much shit yourself on it right now. 70mph on a quad is moving. It dyno'd in at 43 horses, 97mph. Thats plenty fast for me.
It's time to get the car going now!!

How the hell do you keep the front tire planted on a 250 2 stroke to run those numbers? My RMX would freakin fly out from under me if I tried to launch it like that.

My banshee ran 8.40's with 15/41 gearing and few bolt ons... I would think a stock Shee would dip into low 9's...

First time at the track with my 87' GT with MAF conversion, cold air, pulleys, full exhaust, and 3.73's went 9.5 @ 74 with a god awful 60ft time of 2.4 seconds. That was also with a hellacious exhaust leak.

Well you have to stretch the swing arm-- +4 to 10". They make swing arms that are adjustable too. Check out wickedatv (http://www.wickedatv.com)

Mine is a -2 swingarm.. plus when I launched, I was in second.. kind of a little bog.. but, its better than getting slammed on ur back!

As far as my car,(chad & DJ) give me alittle more time in the seat, and let me fix the blown head gasket ( found that out today) and maybe it will do better?????!!!!! But hey, I'm just a guy with a mustang... what do I know.

You should be running better than 10's w/ 3.73.
My old stang w/ 3.73 BBk shorty headers and H-pipe and a AOD stock ran 9.20's and rest of the car was stock straight down too suspenion.
Btw ill never own another AOD mustang again if i do buy one it will be dropped for a C4.

Thats what everybody is telling me. We did a block test yesterday and found the right head gasket is leaking. I'll get that fixed and run it again.

Running the banshee at redline tomorrow night. This time we've done alittle tuning and changed spockets. Should pull high 8's to low 9's..... around 80-85mph
