OGG format

how old is this format ive never heard of it, and do any of you know of a program to convert mp3 to OGG. one of my games says i can use this to put my songs in the game.

OGG is an open source version of MP3, it was created around the time MP3 license became under flame. As for a Windows base app, I do not know one off the top of my head.

Audacity is an open source app that can convert. You'll have to get the lame_enc.dll before it can handle mp3's, but beyond that, it's pretty easy.

You can also use GoldWave, dB PowerAmp, or just search for "mp3 to ogg converter" and you'll get a shit-ton of links.
