Hey, have any of you see the reviews of Liddell’s opponent...
That dude is BAD (they said he is the scariest guy in UFC)
He has over 100 fights and has only lost 5 times!
I was just wondering if you guys think Chuck Can beat him
(The guy fighting Chuck is one of the few who beat him)

Jeremy Horn is a bad dude...
Chuck is sloppy, but if he lands it it is solid.....
Honestly, my money is on Jeremy...

My mom will be sitting with Tra Telligman's wife @ the fights next week.

Chuck vs. Jeremy should be an awesome fight, and if Horn goes even half way thru the 2nd round with chuck, i think he'll take it.

Should be a kickass fight to watch either way.

What kind of shape is Tra in? He hasn't fought in 2 years and will have his hands full against Sylvia. I know Tra's got some great boxing skills but don't think he'll be able to handle a larger and stronger Tim.

Give me Chuck by 1st rd KO. If the fight goes beyond the 2nd round, I sure hope Chuck's cardio is good.

Jeremy Horn is a great fighter but the guy fights all the time. He has fought some of the best but has also beaten A LOT of fucking cans. Rather than fight a few times a year for big money, he fights in lots of small shows where the competition is not nearly as competitive as UFC or Pride.

From what i've seen, Tra's been training his ass off. I see him @ Phil Sawyer's old school boxing gym.. they train a few times a week. (moms boyfriend is phil - tra's boxing coach). I know Phil's not the only trainer he's been working with and i hope his hard work pays off. Phil's actually got 2 or 3 guys he's worked with on the card for the night, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I do agree though, Tra better bring his A-game, or he's in trouble.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

Horn is the one to take the title from Chuck... If Chuck doesn't knock him out in the first 2 minutes, Chuck's done....

If this fight goes to the ground at all, Chuck's done....

Horn for champ

I bought a Samsung. Got a hell of a deal too. $2100 for tv and stand. brand new, shipping and tax. Cant tell you where I got it though. It was a good hookup.

Well hello Mr. Horn nuthugger. :D

I'll tell you that I am not a Chuck nuthugger but think he makes for extremely exciting fights. The guy brings a lot of energy into the cage. I'm wondering at what point Chuck will start getting a little respect. The guy always seems to be the underdog in any big fight no matter how hot he is. I'm gonna laugh my ass off when Horn gets KTFO.

I am fighting in a submission tournament in Oklahoma City on Saturday, but will be booking in back as fast as possible to watch the fights. I don't know where yet, but I will be watching. Travis Lutter, from Fort Worth is fighting (although I don't think that it will be shown).

From what I understand, chuck has been training a lot with Eddie Bravo (I did a seminar of Bravo's, and that is what he said), so his ground game may not be too bad. He has awesome take down defense. That is one of the reasons that many of his fights stay up. I am betting on Chuck, but it could go either way. Just my .02

a buddy of mine from work trains bjj and knows lutter and said he's looking really prepared for this. a couple UFCs ago lutter fought and lost, but the word is he had to cut 20 pounds in 2 days and that absolutely drained him. i'm hearing from my buddy that lutter is much more prepared this time out.

exactly, also Horn had his time in UFC before, but they dubbed him not a top calibur fighter...

So he went out and decided to fight every fight he could. And I think he's more than proven himself in his 93 fights...

I've posted it before, look at the guys he has lost to, and those he's beaten

*beat Chael Sonnen twice, who's beat Alex Stiebling, and lost to Forrest Griffin
lost to Anderson Silva, who's beat Lee Murray, Carlos Newton, Alex Stiebling, and Sakurai
*beat David Louiseau, who's beat Charles McCarthy and Gidoen Ray in his last two UFC's, beat Mark Wier and Tony Frickland
*lost to Renato Babalu Sobral, in a decision, who's beat Mauricio Rua, lost to Chuck, beat Elvis Sinosic, lost to Randleman, beat Maurice Smith, beat Travis Fulton
*beat Forrest Griffin, who's beat Chael Sonnen, Stephan Bonnar, Bill Mahood, Travis Fulton and Braga
*beat Vernon Tiger White, who's lost to Chuck, had a draw with Ian Freeman, *beat Matyushenko, beat David Terrell, lost to Sakuraba, lost to Bas Rutten, lost to Frank Shamrock, etc
*beat Travis Fulton, who's faught more MMA fights than anyone, with a record of 161-41-9
*beat Gilbet Yvel, who's beat Overeem, Gary Goodridge, Semmy Schilt, and lost to Dan Henderson, Vitor Belfort, Vochancyn, and Don Fry. Had a no contest against Wanderlei Silva
*beat Akira Shoji, who's beat Guy Mezer and had a draw with Renzo Gracie
*lost to Ricardo Arona twice, both decisions, who's beat Sakuraba, Dean Lister, Murilo Rua, Dan Henderson, Guy Mezger, Gustavo Machado
*Lost to Elvis Sinosic, one of his few submission losses
*lost to Randy Couture, in a decision
*lost to Nogueira in a decision, who's beat Fedor, Heath Herring, Mirko Filipovic, Ricco Rodriguez, Dan Henderson, Semmy Schilt, Bob Sapp, Enson Inoue, Mark Coleman, Goodridge, Overreem,
*BEAT CHUCK LIDELL
*Lost to Frank Shamrock
*Lost to Braga
*Had a draw with Dan Severn, back in 97, Dan's hayday
*beat Nate Schroder twice, who beat Paul Buentello

And many many more...

So it's hard to say most of his fights are against nobodies....

Chuck is now what would be a purple belt, the first fight with horn he had now jiu jits training. I feel the same was great fight could go either way but Chuck is on a huge wave right now. Most the people callin Horn also said Randy would pound Chuck, how did that turn out? And dont give me this Horn has never been KO'd shit, Randy had never been KO'd and he fought HW's.

You're a fucking idiot if you think that either of these guys are fighting at the same level from 1999. The sport has evolved and so has Chuck's knowledge against submissions. He's got one of the better sprawls in the game.

No shit right? We can sit here all day and discuss that this guy beat that guy so he should win this fight right? Shit doesn't work like that so I try not to waste my time thinking about stuff like that. It's all about styles. This could very well be a fight that Chuck loses but I'm hoping he brings his A game and knocks Horn out.

Is anyone getting the fight in the Arlington/GP/Ft. Worth area? A buddy and I are looking for a place to watch it. I am respectful, will kick in $, and bring some beer? Anyone? Hell, I may get it, but my big screen is only 27".

90 minutes until the show begins. I decided to PPV it my house instead of going somewhere else tonight.

I think that Horn should win BUT Chuck has the ever present "puncher's chance" We'll see soon!

No sir. I train with Orlando Waugh. He is a black belt under Carlos Machado, and he came up at the same time that Lutter did. I have done seminars with Machado though. The man knows his Jiu Jits.

LOL!! I use to train at Mohler Jiu-Jitsu when Orlando was there. O is an awsome instructor, I learned alot from him. Where is he based out of now?

Ok, all you fucking Horn NUTHUGGERS!!! Where the fuck are ya?! The fight even went in the later rounds and what the fuck happened? Horn's bitch ass had to quit due to double vision. LOL. Very nice. So much for Chuck throwing sloppy bombs all night. How about that sprawl? What did Horn attempt? 2-3 takedowns all night long? When are people going to realize that most fighters are forced to stand w/Chuck b/c his sprawl is just THAT good? That is all. :D
