I am a Bay Area fan. It is where I grew up. Granted it is like polar opposites, but I explain it like this. I ALWAYS support the local team. I was a niners fan starting back around the days when the Niners played Denver in the SB. Of course back then I was really too young to pay attention to sports. I really became a fan in 1993 or 1994. When the Raiders came back to the Bay Area, I adopted them. My true love is with the Niners, but I pay attention and root for the Raiders too. I also am a Golden State Warriors fan, Giants, A's and Sharks fan. I dont pay much attention to baseball and hockey as I do the NFL and NBA, but I still watch their games if they are on TV...

I'm not from the Bay area, but as a niner fan who spends alot of time talking to fans from that area, I find it absurd that you like Oakland and the Niners. I've never met a niner fan that would even consider for a moment rooting for the raiders. Like Z said, you can't root for the mets and yankees, just like you can't root for the cubs and white sox. Raiders vs. Niners, despite rarely playing each other, is a pretty big rivalry all things considered. Nothing on par with Cowboys vs. Eagles, Giants vs. Jets, Kings vs. Ducks, etc, but you get the idea. You can't root for both, thats just crazy. Pick a side of the fence, don't straddle it.

Hey, I root for both teams and that is how it is. I dont know how to tell you but I like both teams...

I think so. I plan on getting the NFL ticket since Jack Londons will be too far from me now that i'm moving to North Dallas at the end of the month.

Where is Jack Londons and what is it? Where in north Dallas are you moving to? I live in Carrollton... I cant get the ticket because I have cable instead of dish...

Swung by my new place tonight and it looks like due to the location of my apartment, that I may have to pass on direct TV and go with comcast cable. So no NFL Ticket for me :mad: At least I can still get NHL center ice.

I'm moving to the Preston/Beltline area.

Jack Londons is over off of I-20 in Ft. Worth. Forget the name of the road. Scott may be able to help, we watched a few games together there last season.
