I did pretty good but my cars raising the timing by itself for some reason. :confused:

there was no one out there. you could hot lap all night long with barely any wait. if 2minutes is a wait then yes there is a wait.
11.8 @ 125mph on my 750---then I got kicked off the track because of their stupid 120mph regulation.

Wasn't too crowded last night. They were prepping the track like crazy since 20 years worth of rubber was just scraped off with the cement grinding they just did. I saw them spray track bite the whole track four times and they may have done it more before I got there. Some where having traction problems, some weren't. Slow Five-O did well until he pushed it harder than the clutch would take :( Labora set a new personal record of 11 runs in one night :p SpeedyJC ran the 1/4mi. for the first time in his car (02 yellow GT) and was hooking well! SUX2BU was packing it up when I got there but have his runs on video. Have lots of video if Slow Five-O can upload it from his camera :confused:

did you not run the Z?? I can upload videos but i'll need the tape.. if its a mini dv, i can do that real quick.. if its another format, i'll have to transfer it to mini dv and then upload it

What did labora run?
He thought he was going to have slicks but didn't get them in time so it was a spinathon on the street tires. Maybe he'll post up what he ran.

I'll talk to Slow Five-O about getting you the tape, it's a mini DV I believe.

I didn't do well at all. My best run was 14.17 with a 9.10 1/8th and 2.06 60'. Wednesday at Kennedale my slowest run was 9.02 with a couple in the 8.8's. I was way off.
My first launch I hooked pretty well but on the other 2 runs I couldn't get my tires to smoke, even after 4-5 seconds in 2nd. Then I would just spin off the line. I think it just got worse the later it was.The left lane was worthless but right line was worse because there was no way to go around the water box. It was just soaked.

14.1@101 with a 2.3 60. :rolleyes: On 245's street tires. :) O well it was fun. I hot lapped most of the night trying to get my driving down which is why I got 11 passes. :D Little more time I think I could have got a 13 but o well. :cool:

My best run of the night, which was still a shitty one, was 13.2 @ 108 mph with a 8.6 @ 85mph 1/8th mile and a 2.0 60 ft :rolleyes:. I spun in 1st gear gear, and was banging off of the limiter.
On the first run, the vacuum line blew off of the brake booster :eek:. I had a bad launch and the boost was only hitting around 8psi. It scared the shit out of me when I was trying to slow down with a rock hard brake pedal. I had to stand on the pedal to get the car to stop :confused:.
On the very last run, the clutch decided to slip through 1-3 gear, so I let out.
My best 1/8th mile was at Kenndale back in March at the Spring Cruise.... 8.4 @ 80mph. Since then I had a crack in the header fixed, did a better tune & leaned out the fuel, and had some issues with the MSD. I am thinking that if I could get the 60ft back down to 1.8, the car could easily be in the high 12s.

You have to have on full leathers to go 120 +. All I had was gloves,helmet & jacket.

I bet if you laid it down you wouldn't think it was so stupid. A pair of leather pants or a nice case of road rash? Umm, I think I'll spring for the leathers!

I know I can run better times on it--I was just trying to keep it at 120 or lower--didn't work too well however. Next time I'll have full leathers. :cool:

Thats still not bad. It will be in the 12's for sure once you get everything all worked out ;)

i went 10.8 on my very first pass on an old 00 750.
I went 9.72 on my first pass, limiter through the traps, shoulda shifted 5th, 9.70 on my 2nd pass, bogged it outta the hole bad, got kicked off cause I forgot my simpson boots
