I'm looking into getting a iBook G4. Likes or dislikes?

Hold out until they switch to intel chips (should be sometime next year). Should be a bit cheaper, and a bit faster for mobile. And when Codeweavers ports Crossover Office to it, you'll be able to use quite a few of the Windows apps you've been using, without having to pay to switch to Mac versions.

if you're set on a mac, the ibook's are decent. PowerBook might be a better option if you're going to be doing anything like video editing, or graphic design on it. IBook will do it, but won't be as good.

no I need it for more practical uses. I'll be working overnight shift at work and there's some accounting programs that I need that I can't d/l on work computers. I figured I could get some studying done while being up all night.
