I've been playing Forza motorsports and have a few quick cars, quickest being a 73 porsche that runs 9.1's. What are the best 1/4 mile cars in the game?

How do you get to the 1/4 mile races? :confused:

Its under free run or multi player, point to point races, last one.
I've got an enzo going 9.0's and a mines skyline doing 8.9's now.

Sweet I'll have to check it out.. although.. I only have a talon, srt4, and ford gt right now.

Buy the volkswagen jetta vr6. There is a glitch in the game that allows you to make free cash with that car.

Once you get online and play online, it patches the game, and that "glitch" no longer works. But that "glitch" works with any car that can do an engine swap, I used the '00 Camaro SS.

I've heard that, haven't played online yet though.
Didn't know it worked on any car, I wonder which car will net the most cash?

i have my porsche 959 going a 9.225. that is with STM off, TCS off, ABS off, and manual transmission.

can you drag race with a system link? btw.. my Ford GT runs a 10.7 with no susp tuning. I will play more this weened., and get a better car.

Where are you getting your custom paint schemes from, or where are you creating them, and then exporting them to the xbox?

Free xbox online setup. Uses your computer as a gateway, from what I understand.

I just go to add decal, or whatever its called and create them.

i dont see how you got your enzo down to 9.0s. All i can make it do is 9.4's.

There's a bit of tweaking in the settings and you have to run it as a manual. Best was a 9.02, but I can't seem to replicate it. I've gotten a 9.03 and several 9.06's though.

Best I got mine to was a 9.7 .

i always run manual, and everything else off (abs,traction control, etc) Im not to good at the tweaking :( i just spin all the way down the track

I get best results with stock suspension. I forget wich one of mine is fastest, been too long since I played it. High 8's though.

Just to see what happens try shifting into second gear a split second after you launch it. I got some of my better et's that way.

If you can figure out which one you used to run an eight on stock setup I would like to know, I've only got one car going 8.9's :( .

I did run some 6.4's backing up though, lol.

Finally getting 8.9s with my skyline. and 9.1s with my 911 and 959

^I think those cars right there are my top 3 quickest. I'll fire it up today and find out.

Anybody able to get the newer viper to shift into 6th without loosing speed? My fastest on the big oval is 236, I think with the hennessy(sp?) viper. I'm only at level 40 or something, I don't care too much for the prototype stuff.

i've had a car go in the 240's, dont remember which one. I also dont like the prototype cars.
