I downloaded the bootleg of the Family Guy story from Limewire. I've watched it on my computer plenty, but I have tons of friends that want to see it.
Is there any way to burn it to a disc so a DVD player will read it?
This is the File Name:
Stewie.Griffin.The.Untold.Story.STV.2005.DVDRip.XviD.INTERNAL.avi
Can i just convert it to a different type of file, and burn it on a CD, or would it have to be burned on a DVD burner?

Post up the model number of your dvd player, and Ill see if your shit supports svcd or vcd. You can burn it to a SVCD or VCD. There are millions of ways to do it.
You will need to convert that avi to a dvd compliant Mpeg2, then you can burn it to disc. Lots of video tools are capable of this, i use winavi converter, tmpgenc, Diko... Ive found the winavi converter is the fastest but looses some quality, but you get a ready to burn file. Note: it is also capable of burning the disc, but it sucks, lots of errors, i use Nero or decrypter to burn after conversion.
I just got winavi converter last night and have no idea how to use it. Can someone tell me where to start? Thanx
What are trying to convert with it? It does DVD, Mpeg1&2 wmv and supose to be able to convert to avi, however it fails everytime i try. I use it for batch converts and dvd conversions. Easiest program ever.... say your gonna convert an xvid to dvd, click the DVD tab, select output(where it saves to) then find the file click. under Output format, click the advance tab, select ntsc under target format and you can select either 4:3 or 16:9(widescreen) aspect ratio. Thats it click ok and 45 min (or so) later....done. Now i use either decrypter or Nero to burn dvd's but winavi is capable of burning it.
