I was messing around with my old pc a pII 233mhz. I installed a AMD 350mhz and it would not boot up. it powered up but no display, memory count up.....So I put my PII cpu back in and now get the same problem. Did I f#ck this computer up?!! It will not respond to the reset button or ctl+alt+del.
Thanks

you should try resetting the cmos, with the jumper on the board. The AMD processor requires more voltage, so you probably fried the socket.

Yep, my guess would be a fried slot.
