As much as I like that prediction . . . . Herbstreet, like Corso, is the biggest Sports Idiot on TV.

What he didn't think of is that in order for A&M to win the Big 12 south, A&M has to beat OU in OK. I guess he over looked that.

Actually, I was being optimistic!!! ;) Besides, if you set your expectations low enough, you sometimes get surprised and they will do better. Mostly a reverse philosophy...?

The expectations in College Station are not all that far fetched. Theyve got a veteran squad at positions that matter. That is usually an equation for success.

Anyone that says Franchione cant coach, is out of their Godamnd mind. He has proven time and time again, that he is one of the best coaches in Football. He has turned around many programs. With the resources at Texas A&M, he will do the same.

The one thing that I have doubts about with A&M, is their lack of strength on the road. They have only won 2 road games since the 02' season. (Oklahoma St. 04', and Iowa state 04') They will need to show that they can win on the road, before they are considered a Conference Title contendor. Their 05' road schedule doesnt look to be much easier.
