Well I know Daprez is coming to the the cruise, but I didnt know if Eric and his over grown small block were coming! Come on out Eric and let me have that #2 spot on the list, You owe it to me from the last Fall race we had!

Looks like I have to defend my #3 spot from Daprez, but I like the competition anyway! I've got a little trick for you two, more fuel. :p

If you run 6.0's NA, you should easily be running 5.50's with a fogger!!!

the real story is I sold the tranny to Turbo Stang the motor to a friend for his truck and the car is going to Australia as soon as the trucking company can get off its ass!

I did it to pay of my mothers house. I was getting tired of making her house payments and mine it was eating up what was left of my savings. So I sold it paid off her house and now am working on a new combo hopefully to be back in TTT5 by next season.

I will let the cat out of the Bag now since I sold the camaro I was saving it for a race with a few folks for some $$$ but they never had the balls to pull up to the line.

I have a run from Ennis I never shared with anyone I am not sure if anyone ever saw it when I went that knew who I was I tried to be real sneaky.

At 3270 lbs this is with most of my weights removed only enough to weight balance rear corners of car and with 28x 10.50 ET Drags on a 400 shot with the limiters in the a arms.

1/8 5.47 @ 127.12
1/4 8.58 @ 146.53

For those who really want to know what I was holding back. I still had 100 more than that I could have put on the plate. Just thought I would share with you guys.

With the same setup I ran a 5.61@125 with a1.32 60 in Abiline at about 1700 feet and no limiters.

It really doesnt matter now anyways.

The 1/4 mile mph sure seems a bit low as hard as it was running in the 1/8th. I know nitrous cars don't always have the mph, but I would think that 127 would be good for 155 mph minimum in the big end!! That thing hauled the mail in the 1/8th!!! Nice numbers and nice car, hate to see it gone. :(

Too small of a bottle maybe? Bottle pressure falling off?

I ran 127 in the 1/8th and 159 in the 1/4.

Regardless he was hauling ass! :eek:

I completly respect what you did for your mom but I just like to give you a hard time about selling a top continder car in mid season. ;)

2 years ago I ran at the Clash of the Titans in the drag radial class in San Antonio and that track is a 1/4 mile track. Based on my 6 runs that weekend I would say something is terribly wrong with the ET vs MPH on Erics claim. All 6 of my runs were 144 to 146 MPH range and the fastest I went was a 9.45. Thats almost a full second difference. Funny how no one was around to see those miraculous runs. :rolleyes: And I have to agree with Josh on this one, NO FREEKIN WAY COULD ERIC KEEP SHUT THIS LONG IF IT REALLY HAPPENED! :eek:

That car has always had some problems with the mph on the other end. Just before he sold the car I think he found out most of the problem in the fuel system. Maybe E can explain it.

lol your funny no worries if you don't think it did or could ask Bud Morgan and/or john Mathis.

I was running that car almost 300 lbs over weight 3470 and still running with the big motors you saw at least one 5.89@121 and thats hitting it .60 out. If people spent more time thinking and less time talking they might figure things out. ;)

You don't have to believe anything it don't matter to me. I was running 5.70s @ 120.xx on a 200 shot with just 28 10.5 et drags instead of the et streets on the car at 3400 please. It had issues I spent a lot of time figuring out and for some reason from abiline T5 race to Kdale T5 race the brand new regulator and black pump had issues.

You guys amaze me with your synical skepticism and you really don't know me that well. I share what I want and don't what I don't want. However had any of you 3 UNC, PP, TS5.8 ever took the time to really pay attention I said more than enough.

At least when I make runs and things happen I always give facts that matter like car weights, tires used, NOS pills, suspension setup. hmm should make you wonder. Especially you UNC just from the one simple statement I gave you the first time I saw you and your car on the streets many years ago.

Street racing 101 remember. When and why would I or have I ever been dishonest or even needed to be?

LOL he was wrong. You forget I been racing for over 20 years I know the fuel demands of my motors. It had more than enough. the issue it had that last friday nite at T5 was the NOS fuel pum was pushing too much fuel as the rpms went up.

It had some lean issues on motoe when it had the 140 gph pump that I had on my firebird and moved over with the 383 way back and I had left it on when I first put the 440 in and shortly after some testing changed it out and moved the NOS fuel pupm and cell up fron to help it work better. I replaced the entire fuel system on that car. Hell with the crappy fuel system end of last year that car went 5.72 @ 124+ in front of everyone I had to settle it down and bring ir back cause it was headed for the center stripe.

Then there was the run I went 95 mph at the 330 and mysteriously slowed down. Remember that one? You were like :eek: .

I don't even know why I argue with ya maybe its just entertaining. :)

Well since you not even gonna give it a break lol I spent hours searching for a stack I still had in the camaro when I sold it I tooke everything small out of the car and stuck it in a plastic grocery bag and brought it into the house. I can't find the bag with the timing slips a couple a small screw drivers, timing pills pen or two some other crap. I think someone thought it was trash and out it went.

I knew what you would say so I simply tried to avoid not finding it cause even if I posted it like I am going to post these others you will come up with some excuse anyways.

If you guys are so good at telling people what thier cars did or didn't run and exactly why it should or shouldn't have. Here is a list of some of my better runs. Look close many have different MPHs at the 330s different 60's etc. So since your the experts and drove and tuned my car and know exactly what I am doing andwhat my car did or did not do then you tell me exactly what was going on the passes and why they vary and what tuning/tires/suspension setups I had and what I was working on and what I either accomplished or didn't? This should be very intertaining. Hell you'll probably tell me that because I make them so they can fit in my log book that I didn't even run them LOL! :rolleyes: :p

lufkin is my home town, only takes about 3hrs to get there...been wanting to get down there for some racing... let a few more of the Burns Racing cars get finished up and we are gonna make a trip out there...

We got two ready plus da prez. Give us a little tuning time then come holla at us and prepare to get smoked.
