I have received word from the track owner personally saying the track WILL be ready for Friday Aug. 12th.

mustangtrends.com is having a cruise out there, we're meeting at hooters in mesquite at 5 and bsing, maybe take a couple pics, then head out at 515 or so

or just see ya'll at the track.

It may be pretty busy since it's the first night back in a while, but who knows.

Free nitrous friday, 6pm-midnight.

i do have a rematch set up with him... at FFW ennis.. my car is still waiting to have to fuel pump fixed... The cobra is bout 1 sec maybe almost 2 sec slower then my car and bout 200 rwhp less also... just for shits and giggle..

Make sure you get the tires wet all the way around the surface before trying to do a burnout, otherwise the tires will cherp and grab instead of spinning and getting a good burnout. Also keep good wheel speed during burnout and motor rpms at least 4000 so it doesn't bog, I prefer 5500 rpms in second gear. Get good smoke then let off the brake and let the car move forward out of the waterbox before letting off the gas :)

LOL The rubber bushing on the driverside lower control arm is split in half and coming out the side.. Plus the control arm its self has a chunck taken out of it where it hit the bolt that holds on the bottom shock.. So I just bought new UPR double adjustable uppers and single adjustable lowers and KYB AGX adjustable shocks.. Now I can really start to hook up good.. :D

Earlier this year I did a 12.39 out there my 1st time on that track. sucks!

Nitto D/R 315/35/17... but i found the problem today! woak up and opened the garage and saw a basket ball size if gear oil under my rear diff. broke a seal and the oil was spewing all over the tires! thought i was kinda strange to be spinning in 4th on a VHT treated track. This baby's going into Ford first thing Monday morn. they replaced the leaking diff seal 2 wks ago and it looks like they did something wrong. Warranty will take care of it. Ill post up once fixed.

its the same concrete.. they surfaced it. it takes time for the track to come in.

thats why i didnt go.. green tracks are spooky for my car

got the car back today! Bankston replaced the entire rear end assembly! awesome!
