Well thats good news! I used to go there, but they had a small fire months ago and the sprinklers ruined everything in the range so its been shut down forever. Sweet, I think Im gonna go there. Anyone else?

Boy, I'm really an amatuer then. At the moment I only have one!

It doesn't look like I am going to make it later today, I have a ton of stuff to do around the house and don't want to stop midway through. I'm just going to run up this morning, in about an hour (10:00).

Wow.. The gun handled well. I am happy with my purchase. I was solid at 25' and 50', need some work with 75' though. I was only hitting about 80%.

By the way, rapid fire not allowed at Bass Pro.. :(

Glock 23. The only other .40 cal I have fired was my fathers but it was a subcompact.. This compact feels much easier to control. The first two rounds I fired (@25') were nearly dead center in the black. Now, if I could only keep them all in there.. :D

I made these custom skateboard tape grips for mine, suprisingly it made a world of difference.

Interesting idea.. If it can hold your feet when doing an ollie it only makes sense ;) . Also looks a hell of alot cleaner than rubber bands! :D

lol yeah. I was gonna get the Hogue, but I figured this was cheaper and just as effective. And now its test-proven. :D

Wound up hitting Alpine yesterday with EW. Must have shot close to 100 rounds through the Savage 110 on the 100 yard range and only one magazine on the Bushmaster (also shot one magazine on my 10/22 but I don't really count that as my nephew and dad were mostly shooting it). This is the first time I've ever hit up the range and never shot a hangun :eek:

Never shot the 110 so much (selling it this weekend and figured I'd make sure I got it out of my system), man I'm going to miss it :( God my shoulder hurts :eek: I realize now that I suck at iron sights and have to get a scope for the Bushy :D

Only thing I hated about my range visit was not being able to shoot FMJ as Soft Point ammo is so much more friggin expensive :mad:

The rifle tube is downstairs. You can move your target up to 100 yards out. I like sighting my rifles in there since you don't have to wait on other people to finish shooting to check or change target.

Air conditioned no. Those ranges get hot as shit, The pistol range gets REALLY hot. The ventilation isnt much. I sweat my ass off whenever I go shooting there.

Yeah, it was pretty warm Saturday..

Also, you have to check the weapon in at the front entrance (can't enter the side), they'll place a lock on it and it will be unlocked at the range. You get 1 hour and they take reservations.
