Muenster? Or do we want to give Twin Hills another shot? Rocky Ridge was a little fun but it's no Muenster!!
I would like to check out Twin hills but I bet they suck. What day is good for everyone?

Here is what it says
Twin Hills is open, but it sucks. I went there a few weekends ago just to get in a ride. The trails in the main track and wore out, and the rest are tore up from quads. Plus part of the property is now fenced off.
This place looks good from the pics

Hmmmm, I'm not sure about the 2hr drive. There's not enough pictures for me to really get an idea of how good the place really is. If Twin Hills sucks then lets just go to Red River. We know it's worth the 2 hr drive.

I hope you're getting brain surgery!! ;)
BTW...looks like I may be out for this weekend. I pulled my bike apart for that shifting problem I was having and itl ooks like I may have a slightly bent shift shaft. I probably wont get the parts for a week or so. :(
Dam that sucks. looks like it might be a good weekend after the rain today.

They have the part I need, but they are sooooo far!! I'm gonna call a place that I normally order from and see if they can 2 day air it first.

I'm not sure that replacing the shift shaft is going to fix my problem yet, but I sure hope so...I don't want to have to pull the motor completely apart to get to the shift forks if I dont have to. I'm trying to locate one locally, Central Yamaha has one but I'm not sure if I'm going to make it over there yet.
Yeah thats similar to my motor. That shaft does look a lil bent but guessing it would effect all gears not just 3rd if that was the problem.

That's what I was thinkng. I have my doubts that it's gonna fix my problem. :( I'm going to pick up the parts today. Hopefully I've have it going by Sat morn.

What is it doing?

It wont shift into 3rd right. It used to be 4th, and sometimes 5th but when we rode Rocky Ridge it was 3rd. I'll go to shift at a high rpm and it will lock me out of the gear. I'll have to let the motor rev back down and then shift into third.

I hate to say it but If rpm makes a diff then its the a shift fork. My old 250 did that, under hard throttle it would not shift and when I replaced the bad fork it was fine.

You're probably right. I just picked up a new shift shaft from Central Yamaha. The old one was defintely bent so I'm gonna put it back together and see how it does this weekend.
