Ok I have 19k on her now and stock sprockets still. I think the front one is needing to be replaced but I havn't taken a look at it yet because there is a cover over it. What are signs that its time to replace that you can tell when you ride and about how long are they suppose to last? TIA.

probably about time to replace. you can pull on the chain where it wraps around the back sprocket and if it pulls away very much the teeth are worn and/or the chain is stretched. or if the teeth look like this:

i went through 2 aluminum rears on my 750 in about 3k miles before i put the sprocket specialists "steal" one on. that one had almost 10k miles on it when i sold it and looked brand new.

We run an aluminum rear sprocket on Greg's bike and have never had a problem with it. We got 10K out of his last sprocket, and he wheelies alot and rides hard. So it is a matter of opinon...

My rear sprocket is still in good condition no probs I was wanting to know about the front how long those last.
