Ok so I bought a Suomy helmet 3 days ago, yesterday I picked it up and the same day both the air vents on the top fell off while riding. I tried to call their customer service all day today and everyone in the office was out. I am starting to get pretty dissapointed in the quality of their helmets and customer service.

*rant off*

That sucks! Gotta be a Friday helmet, I've heard nothing but good things about there helmets. Which one did you get and what size is it? Did you buy it locally?

bought it from motorcycle planet in richland hills, its a large blue ventura.

Its really comfortable and light as hell compared to my other helmet. but now that the ducts are are gone, theirs just a whole in the helmet that makes this awful wistling noise.

Finally! Some place that stocks Suomy helmets! They have a pretty good selection? Got an address for the shop? Keep us in the loop about the helmet, I'm sure everything will get straightened out.

they stock every size so you can get a fit, but they will more then likley have to order it for you, only takes one day for them to get it if you order before 1 i think it was. their customer service is fair at best, but you cant beat the prices, also have a good selection of tires and new and used replacement parts.

he didnt have it in stock, he ordered it, i have never had a quality issue with them, only service and their prices are cheap. i would say the helmet wasent their fault because it was unopend when i got it.

Bah I must have gotten a lemon or something. The clear coat or anti-fog on the visor is starting to peel. they want me to send them my helemt, witch really isent an option because i dont have another to use while they inspect it. this is getting annoying. I havent heard anything but good things about Suomy so im chalking this one up as a fluke. I hope they can take care of it so i dont have to send it in.

Damn that sucks! If you can afford it, pick yourself up a cheap HJC helmet for now and keep it as a spare. I've got two Arai's at home in case I have problems with one I can fall back on the other. I broke one of the Arai side pods one time and after that the shield was pretty much useless as it wouldn't stay in. Plus I rotate them out when I'm cleaning one I'll use the other.

I've sent my suomy to hell and back for over 3 years, its a gunwind xaus replica, and I LOVE IT, fits my head perfect now of course, but its never fallen apart, even after throwing it in anger LOL
