A bike in the bed of my truck. I figure it pretty self-explanitory for a redneck like myself, but I wouldn't mind a few tips from the pros. It's a full size GMC Z71, loading a GSXR 600, I have a couple of ratchet-straps ("come-a-longs" for the rednecks) ;) , just wondering what areas need the most support.
All info is appriciated.

well, at minimum 4 straps, id suggest 6 if you have access to all 6 holes in the bed. Two up front, two in the rear, two to the side, and put the kickstand down. That should do it.

If you plan on transporting it more than once Id go buy a canyon dancer

canyon dancer makes it a lot easier. my only complaint is it squishes the grips sometimes. they're supposed to be something else on the market that doesn't do that, but i haven't seen it in person yet. whatever way you do it, make sure and have somebody there to hold the other side and DON'T ride it up the ramp.

Thanks for the info.
I have plenty of straps and I am borrowing a hommade ramp.
Hmmm....ramp
Anyone know where to get a good portable ramp?
It would come in handy loading my four-wheelers. Unloading is easy, I just throw the four-wheeler in neutral, lower the tailgate, and punch the gass: it pulls the truck right out from underneath the bike! :D
