Anyone know where I could buy one or catch one? :D I had a friend one time that caught a baby bobcat and raised it as a house cat. It was a good pet.
Let me know.. thanks :)

Why would you take a wild animal out of it's natural habitat for your enjoyment?

I agree with the last post... I don't think this is appropriate.

I won't deny that your friend had a bob cat that was a good house pet, but I can honestly say that I have seen the aftermath of two bob cats that were kept in the house. Both of these cats had completly shredded the kitchen floor from running back and forth. Some of the cabinets and other wood fixtures were swollen and falling apart from urine. Not to mention the carpet around these areas was discolored. Some of the walls tripped down partially into the studs were the cats were clawing. On top of all of this the loose fur from shedding coated everything. Both houses were in very bad shape. You may want to research a little more before you bring one of these cats into your home.

you guys are a bunch of pussies.

When i was in South Africa, a friends family that we stayed with had 7...thats right 7 Lynx as pets and they were great housepets. 1male and 6 females. Hell, the male would come rub on you like a regular old car. They can make great pets

I saw my first ever American Black Bear...in Africa. My ex's dad shipped 30 buffalo there. You would be suprised what animals people import and export. That is what her dad does for a living and I have seen soem crazy things

You will see MANY crazy things in Africa. Lions still eat folks over there...daily! I would not want a bobcat in my house. We have them out here where I live, and they can be pretty nutsy. They can tke down an animal much bigger than them if pressed.

my aunt had a mountain lion named rosebud, she had her for 11 years and had to put her to sleep because of old age... she always told us to never look it in the eye! it was one scarey bitch, scared the shit outta me everytime i went. the fucker had footballs and basketballs instead of toy mice to play with!

i know for a fact i can get a picture of it too, i'll have to get that soon!

We have them here in Missouri.
I had never seen one till I moved here.
Wasn't even scared of us. Still didn't try to pet it though

Well ones things for sure when their in the wild they are viscious animals and can take down a larger animal if you aggravate them.

Bobcats are very good pets as long as you give them plenty of attention. They demand attention constantly! mine is always in your face, follows me around like a dog, and will shred wood doors like nothing. They are a big handful when they are pissed, and it is illegal to own one without a special permit. They also require a special diet of raw and undercooked meats. If you live in an apt. don't bother as that is too small and you and the cat will kill each other. They need thier own space and you WILL want your own.

Well I have a good size house 3bed 2 bath... and a huge fenced in back yard so if I ever do get one it would have plenty of room.
