Eric is one of the few people in the car audio world that really cares for his customers needs and wants. He is the best of the best. I say to hell with all these mega chain stores. I mean why in the world would I want to buy a car audio system from a person that sells dish washers all day and is just filling in for someone in the audio department that's on lunch break?
For those of you wondering why Auto sound systems of Bedford does so well, visit Eric and his team and see their skill first hand. I've known Eric for close to ten years, some of that time working for the same company with him. He will do everything he can to earn your business and make you a life time customer.
have to give another bit thumbs up to EW. He helped me out with some stuff about 2 weeks after I joined the board. Took care of me and followed up with me after it. Can't say enough good stuff about this guy.

EW seems like a great guy, but I met a really cool installer at a car show from Tweeter. The guy knows some serious shit, has been helping me with my install which started with a small amp install and a sub, and now is turing into a full system minus components. He is the only one I have talked to that knew how to tie into the factory system to avoid altenator noise, as a lot of people have suggested on the Acura forums to be annoying. Anyways, not to take anything away from EW, but this guy at the Dallas Tweeter is a bad ass as well, if people aren't looking to drive to far.

no offense but if he is the only one who knows how to tie into a factory system without alternator noise.....you haven't talked to many people or the right people.

No big deal. I'm just selling the stuff. My guys are installing it. There are many good people around town but many more clueless people.

For sure, you always seem like a great guy. The installer at Tweeter knows his this, the sales guys seem a little confused though. Its always god to have good sales and installers, but that is few and far between these days. I am sure your shop has both from the way people talk of it, where are you guys at? Good install price for a Concept 40 in a 92 5.0 with auto locks? :D

Concept 40? That is two gererations old so I hope you're joking. :)
I would have to agree with all of the above mentioned comments about EW. He has done 2 alarms and one stereo for me. He also hooked me up and ordered a specific Sub, and some DynaMat. Every time I have gone there for something either big or small, he has been great.
I will continue to go back to him.

Well I'm pretty sure that's what I had but I'm sure Eric could confirm it. Cliffords are great alarms though, I'm on my third car with a Clifford installed.

Yea, I am buying the same 'verters... The guy installing it said they took the output after the amp, because if they take it off the head it has mad noise. I didn't think taking the signal off the amp at the speaker sounded like a great idea, but he said the've done it before and it sounded great. Am I missing something here? Usually I don't dick with factory crap, I take it all out and chuck it, but since the A/C and radio are all sorta integrated, I wanted it to look more factory, just new to me on how is the best way to hook it up.. lol.

lol, matt, i was kidding.
*I* wouldn't use the Line Level Converters, but that's just me. They work great for hundreds of our customers, but *I* would do something a little different personally, but I'm sure your guy already knows all the tricks.

What your tricks? ;) I was reading something about a JL Cleansweep, but I dunno if I need something like that, even the guy on the Acura forum who works at JL said it was more for people replacing the stock speakers, which I am not.
Need input from some installers, I have been out of the biz for too long and don't know the ins and outs. I just wnt my shit to sound good and bump. :D

Damn Nate, I wasn't talking about a regular install, I was talking about adding amps to a 04/05 TL... So yea, you answered my own question... you don't know...
I've NEVER had noise in any of my systems, but they were all P/G, speakers, amps and Alpine only heads... had a Clarion once and Kenwood, both were ok, no noise either.
The TL requires special installation, and the install dude knew of the issues surrounding the car; I was expecting you to know to with your comment towards my response. ;)
