View Full Version : Employee Pricing on Fords

5starstanger

Yes, Ford is matching GM's employee pricing on most vehicles. Before you ask, Mustang, Escape hybrids, and the GT are not eligible. Every other '05 vehicle on our lot will be offered at Ford's employee price. Rebates will also be offered in conjunction with the employee price. I will list details as we learn about them tomorrow. Feel free to call or PM for answers.

oh man that's tempting.....is this discount really that much better than x-plan or any other discount you would have normally offered?

Can you PM me with some price ranges on the Lariats?

X-plan is 1.5% above A-plan. So depending on the cost of the vehicle, the saving can be several hundred or even a thousand dollars less than X-plan.

I just found out rebates. They were not cut as much as I expected. Definitely more rebate than GM. I'm off today, but I'll manage to put some examples up today.

power moonroof not offered in SE. SEL with moonroof is very hard to find. I looked and found maybe a couple within 60 miles of my store.
If she can do without the moonroof, I can get an SE for $22,357!

she said thats fine, but she refused to buy leather down here in texas :o
that and she really likes the freestyle b/c of the outdoor keypad. her van now has it and she always leaves her keys in the car and uses the code pad to get in.

she really likes the titanium green, with the dark cloth interior (shale i think)

but enough of answering my questions while you are not at work ;)

Don't most Fords offer that external Keypad? Perhaps she would like an Explorer. The keypad is an option on the Explorer XLT but standard on the XLT Sport or higher trim lines. The Escape doesn't offer the keypad.

The Freestyle has wheelbase that is 1 inch shorter than the Explorer but it is 12 inches longer overall. The Explorer is only a couple inches wider than the FreeStyle, so they are very similar sized vehicles.

Freestyle is far better than an Explorer for the money. Almost the same cargo and seating space, handles way better, and way better fuel economy. More bang for the buck. I do like having the keypad also which is on a little less than half of Fords.

Of course the dealer is not taking a loss. Just like a Legit A-plan deal Ford pays a dealer commision so we don't lose money. With a normal A-plan deal, and now with all the employee pricing, both are not negotiable.
I know, it's the same problem we have anytime we have a Sale Price. We made it too easy. Everyone still feels they have to negotiate.

OK THE REASON I ASKED THIS QUESTION WAS BECAUSE I HAVE A FRIEND THAT WORKS FOR RANDAL NOE. HE TOLD ME THAT HE CAN STILL BEAT THAT DEAL I GOT IN PRESTIGE FORD. HOW CAN THAT BE POSSIBLE, OR IS HE IS TRYING TO MAKE ME WASTE MY TIME OUT THERE SO HE CAN GET THE SALE? THEN OFCOURSE SINCE HE IS MY FRIEND I AM KNDA FORCED TO GIVE HIM THE SALE. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT SKIP?????????????

no need to "yell".....as far as I know, the only way a dealer can beat another dealer is on trade value.....since they are setting this up the same way as a plan I would assume it follows the same rules.....in order for the dealer to claim the comission paid to the by ford the car has to be sold exactly at the a plan price.....any deviation from that and ford will not pay and therefore the dealer would take a massive loss.....bottom line there is no reason to sell a car below the "family plan " price....hope that answered your question

Ok, we are running low on Expeditions, Diesels, and Explorers. We are very low on Sport Tracs, Foci, and Escapes. We do have plenty of F150's. I just wanted to throw that out there since everyone knows our promotion is good for the rest of the month. However our inventory of 05's will not be around that long.

If anyone is interested in buying on this program, please call or PM for appointment. It's getting pretty crazy up here and inventory is disappearing. I need to stick to appointments in order to make sure everyone has the DFWSTANG experience. These are the lowest prices I've ever seen on most of these models, and the public is starting to understand this. Also I sometimes give a ballpark on trades, but you know we need to see these vehicles to put a real number on them. During the week will be much quicker for you. Saturdays have been beyond busy. As it stands right now, we have 1/3 the market in Tarrant county out of 8 Ford stores!

I've seen one Expedition on our lot in the last year with Nav on it. Not a option in high demand here so we order them without. If it's really important I can try to locate one for you.
It looks like I could get one if I need to. The nav is $1995 on sticker, so it scares off most costumers. Let me know what I need to do.

Right now if I wanted a GT, it would be $3000 over sticker. We have one, and it will sell for that. I'm frustrated at that, but completely understand why.
I can't see a new employee getting any favors on one, but that's a different store so you never know.
