F150 Recall question

Okay with all the news and crap going on with the f150 and expeditions catching on fire. I was wondering... I have 2001 SuperCrew Lariat, thats doesn't have the recall on it according to ford. Yeah I know it says 2001 supercrews were recalled, well mine wasn't for some reason or another. Can I not just buy the new switch and install it myself? And where can I get it at any Delership? CNN said that ford has used this same part from 93-03 So I know I must have it. I heard it was only about 20 bucks or so.

just unplug it i did this to both lightnings( this is the crusie control plug ) didnt feel like having a tech do this and charge me for it . mine are in front of the are in front of the brakes just a soft pull and your set. if this is one of the few your talking about.
