Ipod questions

1) I want to take songs from my ipod and load them onto my new hard drive. The old one crashed and i lost all the songs. Is this possible?



2) I want to load up songs from the new collection onto my ipod without erasing the old collection. Is it possible?

Yes, but the names will be all fucked up. Plug it up without itunes running. Windows will mount it as a drive, look for the hidden folders and start copying.
