The GeForce 4 Ti4400 will not ever run the game, it doesn't support Pixel Shader 1.4 which this game needs. There's a patch out that will let you run the game, but it has tons of graphical glitches and such. You'll need anything newer then an FX5700 to be able to run the game.

This is straight from the readme.txt for Battlefield 2
Video Cards
Battlefield 2 only supports the following video cards:
Radeon X700 (PCIe)
Radeon X600 (PCIe)
GeForce 6600 (PCIe)
GeForce PCX 5900 (PCIe)
GeForce 5800 Series (AGP)
ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition
ATI Radeon X800 PRO
ATI Radeon 9800 Series
ATI Radeon 9600 Series
ATI Radeon 9550 (RV350LX)
ATI Radeon 9500 / 9700 Series
ATI Radeon 8500 Series
ATI Radeon X300 Series
NVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra
NVidia GeForce 6800 GT
NVidia GeForce 6800
NVidia GeForce FX 5950 Series
NVidia GeForce FX 5900 Series
NVidia GeForce FX 5700 Series
But yeah the 9200 does support PS1.4 so you should be able to run the game.
Not at high settings though.

This game is a resource hog and will not be handled very well by most computers. EA/Dice does not do a very good job with their programming and managing memory. Most people are stating that the game will have stuttering problems with anything under 1.5gb of RAM. I have had one of the common problems that there is currently no fix for. The game loads and looks great and sometimes I can play for hours but then the screen gets pixelated, goes black, then a loud screeching sound, and then no video signal. Have to power reset to recover. There are hundred of people on the PlanetBattlefield forums having this problem and no one has found a fix. A friend that I play with has played the Demo with me for two weeks without a problem and last night out of the blue his did the same thing four times in two hours. This game will most likely need several patches before it is right. ONE MORE DAY UNTIL RELEASE!

One thing that helped me when I had studdering issues, was to turn down lighting to medium.
The reason for all the studdering is, it is constantly using the page file.
And when I had 1gig of ram it was using 1.2gigs of my page file, and using 800mb of my physical ram.
Now since I have 2 gigs, the page file is hardly used, and I am able to to run everything at High Settings, 4xAA, 8xAF, 1600x1200 @ 85hz.
Game looks and plays flawless.
Now if we can only do something about people spawn camping for a plane or heli.

Last night we were on a server and my buddy was the commander. We had three people that were over -250 and several others around -100. They had taken over the ship so we had no planes, heli's, or UAV. We tried a vote kick but it required 32 votes to kick but we only had 29 people on our team. The other team was not included in the vote so it wasn't possible to kick them. They all kept bragging how they the server had been owned by them and we should quit crying.

Does anyone get the same problem as Friends are showing up as enemies?
Reason I ask is, last night I had like two guys coming at me (I was MEC/red) and well these two guys names were lit in blue (as USMC/blue), so I grab my pistol out and put them both down. and I get KICKED for excessive TK'ing!
What kinda shit is that?

Went by Gamestop today and bought the Strategy Guide. The ship date from EA was today on the games and they said they should have them ready in store by tomorrow early afternoon. The two Gamestops I have been to said they may not have any for retail sale because there have been so many prepurchased. I ordered mine two months ago.

Walmart in Grapevine has 60 copies of the CD version. Just bought two and got a refund from Game Stop for my preorder. Check other Walmarts because the guys said they all get their shipments mid-afternoon.
