xbl communicator headset(s) - plantronics or MS

I'm sure most of you who play xbl have the ms communicator headset, but did anyone actually get the halo2 plantronics one?
Is it really better?

Reason I ask is my sh!tty MS communicator snapped in half on the earpiece for no reason and I need a new one b/c i'm tired of having scotch tape rubbing against my face where I rigged it back together :rolleyes:

So, give opinions on if the plantronics communicator is better,

And if anyone has a communicator that they don't use anymore and want to sell it, send PM.

I have a few buddies that have the Halo communicator and they swear by it.

I'm still using my original XBL communicator. Still works and I'm cheap ;)

I got the logitech wireless headset for Christmas and can't even imagine going back to my old one. Not to mention that the MS one was snapped in half by someone and they never replaced it.

I got one that I bought a while back, I was gonna give it to someone I know, but I don't talk to him anymore, so make an offer and its yours. i thinks its just a replacement MS one.

I was checking out the logitech units on ebay. They look bulky/heavy to me. Is this true?

no, not at all. I accidently leave mine on b/c I forget to take it off and my wife always ask me why I have it on, and Im like :p
