??stop Light Problems??

Have Only Had My Bike For A Week And Every Stop Light I Come Up To That I Am First In The Lane, It Wont Turn Green, It Always Skips Me Until Another Car Pulls Up In The Other Lane Or I End Up Having To Run The Red Light, Not A Problem On Timed Lights, Guess The Bike Is Just Not Big/heavy Enough On The Lights That Are Sensored. Anybody Else Run Into This Problem??if So What Do You Do To Get The Light To Change??

that shit happens in my pinto.....but when I roll in the chevelle that fucker changes right then LOL HEAVY CHEVY.....your poor little bike is a tin can blowing in the wind for all that traffic lights knows.... :p

Actually it's a magnetic strip I think.
They sell those magnetic things that you put on the bottom of your bike. It's supposed to help, but I haven't tried it yet. I get the same thing everyday from the light exiting my work. It won't change unless it knows that there's someone there.

DONT WASTE MONEY ON THOSE MAGNET STRIPS

i have one (didnt pay for it) and it doesnt work. since sportbikes are mostly alloy the street cant pick us up. the magnet box or strip is supposed to help with that but i have one on my bike and have never had it work. i have heard that a small car stereo magnet will work but i dont have one to tear apart and try.

i heard that legally if the light skips you more than twice you can run the light at your own risk.

i run it if it doesnt change in about 30 sec.

i usually dont get caught at red lights unless its at night anyway, so its easy to run them w/o too much to worry about. usually during the day someone will come along and pull up behind you and switch the light
