Shopping for a primary helmet and I've been locked between getting an Arai RX-7 and this Suomy Dragon. What do you guys think?

it's nice, there's just a little too much going on with that helmet...i like something a little less crowded with graphics.

Pretty friggin' cool Jose. My brother and I went to a Suzuki dealership (can't remember which at the moment) and there were some pretty badass ones there. I remember clearly this one that had a bunch of gambling stuff, i think one side was mostly a routlette wheel, the back was a partial craps table, and the whole thing had small cards and poker chips scattered around. Very cool stuff.

BTW, how much that helmet run?

You guys are probably right, to busy with the graphics (But it does look sweet!). If I go with an Arai it's going to be a plain black RX-7 that will get a custom paint job. I don't care for to many of the Arai graphics, they just don't seem to appeal to be though I love the fit of there helmets.

Hey Jose, yesterday i was chatting with Jason Disalvo, and i tried to get one of his helmets. Thought of you when i asked him since you own a Yami. Don't know why i posted this, but since we're talking about helmets.

Honda Suzuki North is probably where your talking about, there listed as a dealer. I know which one you are talking about, it's my second favorite one of the ones listed.

Yeah, i'm a big Arai fan. Yes the Rx7's are expensive, but well worth it. I saw a couple at Yamaha Suzuki West a couple of months ago that i liked, but i don't remember the model details.

Man, cause i'm cool like that...didn't you know? Here's a copy & paste:

Well like today I'm at Mid-Ohio for a test, but we're not riding today, so I went to the track for a little bit and pretty much will have the rest of the day off.

Same thing at the races, I go online every night and check all the news and photos anyways, so I usually try to catch up with friends and answer any fanmail that comes through my website.

Oh, and on the helmet thing, I have this weird thing about keeping all my old helmets, I've only ever given one away, it's signed and will be auctioned off for Vincent Haskovec later this year some time. Hopefully the replica will be coming out soon though.

I like it Jose. I've been toying around with the idea of another helmet. This one came with the bike and it's not really "me". I want one that I picked out.

Jose, you need to let me throw a paint job on your helmet for you. I'll hook you up on the price.

Jose, check out the FM helmets when you get time. They have a better fit than the Arias, Shoe, or the Suomy.
I have one(Lara Croft), and I love it. And it's about half the cost of the others.

They also carry some other theme helmets such as the Simpsons, South Park, Sylvester, Taz and the Roadrunner. Here is a link to their website http://www.fmhelmets.co.uk/ The company is out of the UK but you can order them direct from www.1888fastlap.com they are in Ga.

I would expect a helmet that flows air very good to be loud. How cool did it keep your head? What size is it?

That, sir is the bomb. I might have to get one myself if I ever get another pretty bike.

Well this helmet will be on the back burner now. In the next couple of days I'll be picking up an Arai RX-7 in solid black as long as it fits.

I might have to holler at you sometime soon.
