Registration for 2005 events will be 100% online. We will not accept payment on site!
Online registration is available until 10PM the Friday before each event and opens
three Mondays prior to the event.

Tech Inspection
All participant vehicles must pass Tech Inspection on site.
Tech Inspection begins at 8am and will close at 9am.

Mandatory Driver's meeting at 9am.
First car will start around 9:30am after a low speed drive through.

Rides in all competing vehicles are free as long as the driver doesn't mind having you as ballast,
however a helmet must be worn. There are loaner helmets available for those that do not own
their own helmet.... (Helmets must be rated M-95 or SA-95 or newer)

Fee to compete is $25 for pre-registered club members and $35 for non members.
Non Members are allowed to register once as a courtesy, and will need to enroll
as members for future events.

Should be another great event. I will hopefully be there and racing unsure on the racing part as of yet I will atleast be there helping out a autox noob. ;) The last event I went to I got 8 runs 4 on a dry course and 4 on a wet course thanks to rain, plus several fun runs. :D . If you haven't done it before I suggest coming out and giving it a try great way to learn car control.

I'll add anymore info I get. If you have any questions post up. Who is going?

*see below to see what you are missing out on :D *

Attach some bristles to that thing, and you can clear off the gravel for us.

I should be at the auto-x on the 25th. I will see if I can find the course map for the one last month. It had a slalom at the beginning that required the driver to do a 180 and go back through the slalom before going through the rest of the course. I never perfected it through 8 runs, but it was fun trying.

What, a 4x4 stang?!! :D

I am starting some research into a splitter, hood and lexan.....If I am going to spend the money to replace the windsheild to be legal in NASA, it's going to be lexan.

The Hoosiers don't have much life left in them...I think, I will check them next week when I put new pads on the rear. I might have to come out to the 6/25 event and see if there is a difference for autoX.......I have been told the MM front end is usually good for about 2-3 seconds at MSR so who knows. I might also make this my last event of any kind till August while the motor comes out. I am going to find out if I can get the other shortblock back in time to finish it up and get some tuning time with it but we will have to see what the machine shop will commit to. Expect to see some sponser stickers on the car! I have to stop paying for this shit..... :D :o

John, where the hell have you been hiding?

Kiss my ass John. Freak'n Aggie. ;) Anyway, it doesn't need bristles!! It's only about 1 inch from the ground now. If I can get the dzus fasteners installed intime AND a place on the trailer to put it for travel I'll bring it just for giggles. Not expecting any help in an AX but who know. How serious are you about your hood? I know where you can get a carbon fiber hood for not too much cash. (It is carbon though so..$$$). Heat extractor, etc. When you start playing around w/ the rear spoiler let me know. I'd be VERY interested in some co-research. As in, design/build kind of thing. Front spoiler.... good luck, this one's mine and it's not going anywhere. :p

Seen a dakota R/T run the course before.. and it did pretty good but the guy was a good driver and it had some mods. Keep at it....you have a whole week to solve a small brake problem!!!

I think I am going to bail as well. I am going to go to the SVT thing down at TWS if I can get in. If not, I will come out and watch the AX maybe......not real intersted in using up tires out there but it would be fun to beat up on you guys a little... :D

I mounted up my RA1's today so that's my new primary set of tires. The Hoosiers might make it through 1 day of sessions next weekend so the Toyos are going to get put in service.

good luck to all if I don't see you there.

The brake problem is only the start. I'd have to start a new thread with everything I'd like to have fixed before a next track day haha. :p It is getting done slowly thou. ;)
