How often do you guys get pulled over, and if I havent gotten my license yet what are the penalties and how often do they enforce them and give you a ticket for it. I took the class I am just being lazy and havent went and taken the written part yet, but I love riding my motorcycle.

Yes I know I shouldnt be a lazy piece and I should just go take the written test.

BAN! BAN!

seriously, why chance it. especially if youve got the hard part over with taking the msf course. laziness could lose your bike or give you a ticket. but hey, they take really good care of it in the impound. so no worries.

Just wondering but how did I come off as being a smart ass?

If I wanted to be a smart ass I could have gone on about you being to lazy for taking the class and not spending the 15 minutes (at least that's what it took me including waiting in line) to go take the test and be legit and not have to worry about being pulled over but everybody here knows that I'm far from being a smart ass

I was just giving you a hard time, dont take things so literally. And I know I need to not risk it. I just work the same hours as the dmv so its kinda difficult.

:D

I would call in sick, go take the test early, and spend the rest of the day riding the bike then :D

Ya no shit, It takes like 5 min. to take the 20 question test. You can expect the cops to write you a ticket every time you get pulled over. Just go take the damn test!!!

i got a ticket for this about a month after i got my bike. not a big deal here, as i know every judge and i was able to get the license the next day and get the ticket dismissed. but you may not be so lucky. the test is a joke. just go do it...

shouldnt he at least study the online manual that they have for adobe? I heard it was a joke too but some people dont have as much common sense as others. Also i thought there were some statistic questions on there? is it really only 20 Q's? Im taking my test within the next week

yeah, it would be a good idea to study the online manual, or you can get a book from the dps office. i took the test and passed without studying. he said he took the msf course, so it should be easy to him. and yes, it is only 20 questions...

One suggestion, when you take the test and if you are not certain on an answer for a question skip it. I found that after I answered enough questions it stopped and told me that I had passed.

Also keep in mind that if you don't have insurance and you get pulled over in Irving they will inpound your bike. Irving is cracking down on people with no insurance. That is in a car or a bike.

THank you for all of your input, specially the person who said skip some questions thats good to know. I would like to think I posess alot of common sense, but what woman doesnt think that.

my buddy told them that he just got the bike and that he wanted to get familiar with the bike before he took the test, of course this wouldnt apply if you were going 150 down the highway or got pulled over for stuntin
