CMRA Race June 25 & 26, anyone going?

Located in East Texas, just outside Henderson. The track was originally constructed in 1975 for Go Kart racing, making it a very technical course.

I'm planning on going for the weekend. Anyone else interested?

When are you guys heading out and where are you planning on staying? I found a clean motel when I was down there last that was $45 a night for a double. Not sure if I'll stay there or at my cousin's house.

I don't know when we'll be heading out there. There is not big bike endurance at Oak Hill races(track is too small). So, we may not head out till late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

It wasn't bad man, no roaches and the AC worked great. About as good as you'd expect for a $45 a night hotel. Only been there once so maybe I got lucky LOL! I'll probably head out Saturday morning.

Thats the weekend right before my bday, so i don't know yet. If ya'll are riding, i doubt it since i don't have a bike yet.

I am going to try and go w/ you all...anyone have chatterboxes yet?? My mom actually lives 20-25 min from there so I could stay w/ her, and actually depending on how many ppl could maybe house a few. Just got to make sure I don't have to work that weekend.

my mom is in Gladewater....not too far from Henderson, I just think it would be fun to go down there w/ everyone on a nice ride. Probably about time to go visit anyways lol. I used to ride every now and then with a group in Longview...when KevinH78 used to ride too. I bet we know some of the same people down in that area.

Thats a kickass little track.Real skinny and has a patchy surface. Makes for some interesting racing.

I don't have a chatterbox, but trying to decide on getting one....there is a nice Group purchase going on on the R1-forum.com They have the X2(mid level) for 180 plus shipping, this seems like a good deal. I just have to decide if its worth it, since I'm still trying to persuade my buddies to get one.

Won't have the money to spend on the Chatterbox right now so I'm out for the GP :( That and I need to convince my riding buddy to get one to as it's no fun when your the only one with it LOL!

even though i will not have my bike back yet :mad: , i have a bunch of local guys here that will be out there. i guess i will drive my truck out there. maybe i can talk my little brother into letting me use his '04 gixxer 6. prolly not though. depending on who all comes from dfw, i can map out a route for you guys to ride saturday. sunday will be a full day at the track. or maybe we all just meet out there. i will make a dfwstangs sign or something. how many of you guys are seriously coming ?
