Yeah that track is pretty good. Boy do i miss racing! So why don't all you 157 racers join CMRA and do some real racing? Its a blast! It is kinda expensive, but maybe ya'll could put a team together and split costs?

Was out there today as well.. First time to see the bikes race at MSR.. and my 6 year old daughter's first ride on a motorcycle.. Instructor after the ride said she wasn't scared of the throttle at all, twisted it to full without hesitation..

Glad to hear you are starting her out early. Wish I had known you were out there :( Maybe next time.
Where you out there for the races or for riding instruction for your little girl?

There wasn't a race today was there? I just came back from Benbrook, and i saw a few trucks, and trailors with bikes loaded up. Saw one truck that had a wadded up 636 in the back.

Yup, they were racing this weekend. Saw two straight races were minimum 2 bikes went off roading pretty bad.

1) Don't have the money
2) Don't have the time
3) Honestly, motorcycling is not one of my top priorities.

I think watching from the television is better. I would like to see the entire race rather than one section. It is kind of like watching football. Going to a Cowboys game is an entertaining experience, but if I want to watch a good football game, I prefer the television.

So are you going to watch the race or what? Clarify what you mean by going up to Cresson?

You haven't been to a good race.. or any race. I'd much rather be at the track to hear and feel the race. Granted my experience has been limited to Barber Motorsport Park which is one of the (if not the) best tracks in the country. Being able to walk the pits and see the racers and the bikes and then seeing them lap the track is much better than watching them on TV. I'm not a huge football fan but I am a basketball fan and I'd rather be at the game with a crowd than sitting at home watch the game. Hell I'd rather be sitting at Hooter's watching the game then sitting at home by myself watching it. Guess I'm weird that way

I live in Benbrook, so it's a regular thing for me to go out to MSR for cars, but had never been for the bikes.. Was nice, ran into an old friend from Oklahoma that I hadn't seen in over a decade.. His 10 year old son and a teammate won an endurance on Saturday..
My daughter likes the bikes on TV, and I think she likes the bikes better than the cars in person.. Add to that I'm starting to shop for a bike, and it was a natural to go today..

Yeah i'd love to go. I posted something about it in my other thread about track size. I think Ty Howard and i are "supposed" to go out there in August, but i don't think i'll be able to go then.

Well I'll post more info as time goes on. Just like the last trip to Birmingham, there was a lot of people interested but in the end it was just me and Stephen. If I do go I have a trailer and a truck and could carry probably a max of 3 bikes (2 in the trailer and 1 in the truck bed). Also probably need to look at 5 days off leaving Thursday morning and returning Monday night. It's almost an 800 mile trip so it's a long haul with a trailer in tow.
