10.5 Race In Wichita Falls

Hey guys we are trying to have a 10.5 race here in Wichita Falls on the 25 of this month, we had one 10.5 race and the turn out was not that good and they cancelled the rest. We have talked them into having another race, so we would realy like to see some of you guys come up so this track can see what a 10.5 race is about. KyleAfter the way they did the TTT5 racers I don't think any of use will make it up there. Thats just chicken shit to cancel the week or two before and not answer or return phone calls from the TTT5 leadership. :mad:

So i understand where yall are coming from.I told them how i felt about it and thought i was going to get banned from the track I plan on racing in the true street class next year.

I think it's only $300 to win, $150 r/u, on a 8 car field. If we can get 20+ cars, I'm sure the payment would be adjusted. :rolleyes:

hell that wouldn't even cover the cost of the trip ... if you won

And, if there is less... Well they won't even guarantee the $300 they are offering, so if there is less than 8 cars, you won't even get that.

Well you are not helping the problem by not coming. Yes i agree the way they did do the pay sucked but we should have that covered so why not show up or quit crying.

I do show up. I race pretty much every weekend. I run no-e in my street car. So that pretty much blows your whole reply to hell. I also helped talk a bunch of guys from up North into coming to the last one. The rain scared them off, and the track took the "chicken little" approach and called off all the 10.5 races.

The spectators make the purse on heads-up events, not car count. We tried to tell them that, but they won't listen. The night before the last race Mike won up in Noble, same car count, full purse. Tulsa had a low count at their last race, they still payed the grand.

I do agree on the way they treated us on the 10.5 race i would have race to but do to personal stuff i couldnt make it.And if you are not allowed back than how are you running no-e. All i know is that you are still not helping by not coming.And for the turn out I am trying to get a couple of my ten 5 buddies to come also.

Who's not allowed back? You got me confused with someone else evidentally. Besides nobody that had anything to do with that last deal is "not allowed back". I'll be there this Saturday as a matter of fact. (finally got some $$$) Come by and say hey if you make it out.

You are right i was thinking of mustang 408 I meet him at the track sat at the chassis inspection he said that Darrel wouldnt let him race ther again I went back and read some of your stuff sorry for the confusion.
