I have the office xp cd but when i download it to the computer it says that a file is missing. so i went and download the whole thing from a p2p site and now i want to copy the whole office program to a cd because i am having problem with my pc and might have to clean the whole hard drive and start from scratch. how do i put it on a cd so i wont have that problem.

You can't just copy a cd to the desktop it won't work. You need a program called alcohol 120% to made disc images. That is a good start come back when you get that done.

cd images are usually either stored as an .ISO file or a combination of (.BIN and .CUE) files.

I like dealing with ISO files more because it is just one file to keep up with and it is compressed.

I use a program called WinISO to "look in" the iso file.
you can use nero or other burning software to burn the ISO image, or you can use a program such as WinISO to open the iso directly and install from it. It will extract the files to a temp dir in the background and install the software.
