how often do you have to reset your modem? (xbox live)

Man cause sometime it seems like I have to reset it way to many times, sometimes like 3-4 times a day :eek: Then there are times it works perfect.

Casue that what it says on there website, that the modem forget what the DNS is :confused: , well that what I read on xbox connect website. Is there any way of fixing this?

are you using a router?

yea, but I think I figured it out. Just unplug the one that goes to the computer when playing it it shouldn't happen.

The modem can not forget dns as its just a bridge.

you shouldnt even have to do that man. my cable modem goes into my router, and from there i feed internet to my PC and xbox. never get dropped,.. ever.
if you have the setup right, you shouldnt have to do any physical operations to your network when you play xbox.

well I have to sometimes casue it gives me the No DNS problem. And on www.xbox.com/connect it says sometimes the modem will forget the DNS when 2 or more are plug in the router.
