I was out in Mineral Wells. I was taking the Tx state Inspector test today out in Mineral Wells. We had a break from 10:30 till 1:30. There an old helipad out there by the airport so I decided to ride out there and practice some wheelies. I did about 8-9 at 40mph + and didnt have a snigle problem. I started to try some low speed stuff and on my second attempt I went back to far and the bike started wobbling. It fell down on the right side and slid for a couple feet. I was only going about 15-20 when it happened. I was wearing a leather jacket, helmet, gloves, and blue jeans. I just scraped up my right leg and busted my right elbow. It only took 3 sticthes to close up. I could see the bone through the gash in my arm. The bike is ok. Just some scratches on the fariing, bent the rear brake lever and scraped up the muffler. But the way I figure is if your gonna try some stunts your gonna end up droping it sometime.Heres some pics

GOod to hear ur not messed up too bad...better luck next time...I dont really play with wheelies outta first gear, but I know those get real unstable if theres any wind problems.

I was walking around today. Im limping alot. I think the bike actually fell ontop of my leg cause its all bruised to hell on the left side and just has a little road rash the right. That would explain why is swelled up like it did.Anyway Im going to be getting an armored jacket soon and some armored pants

Okay, you must've been in just a regular ol' leather jacket from like Wilson's or something?

It was a leather vest w/ matching crotchless chaps.

You were smart about it at least, and hey now you have a red badge of courage.

Get that bike fixed! Get 100% soon too.

Did you pass the test?

I never even got to go up there  . My fiance keeps having "Better plans".

And yeah it was just a regular leather jacket. Didnt do shit to the jacket though.

Not mad about it or anything. If you stunt youll drop it from time to time. Just a risk you take while doing shit like that. But next time Ill have on some better gear and at least bolt on some frame sliders. I was checking out the right side and it drug on the case a little. I think if I was going any faster Id have to buy a new crank case. Got lucky about the bike.

get you one of those roll cages. they save the motor and other stuff pretty well.
