Where was this at?

It was Hulen St. Sunday. The guy looked to be 6'6" brown hair with red 03, 04 vette. I didn't get a good look at her due to the fact she was tiny little thing. She was of age just small. It just that guys with expensive cars always try to show off in front of their women.

I was on hulen on monday in a red '02, but I'm not 6'6 by any means, what kind of car were you in. Did the car have any other markings on it that you could distinguish, mines got a personalized plate other than that it's all stock. I don't think it was me. My girlfriend has been 5.teens at kennedale, so it's not like my corvette would impress her.

Out of curiosity,,, why? The orange car in the garage runs mid 12s stock, and with a cam, converter and a small shot will be in the mid 10s easily... Its still fun to drive around town, has a decent stereo, stops bad ass and turns...

I have a Stang too that is sorta bastardized with its suspension set-up, and it isn't near as nice or fun to drive, but to each his own. :o

My pops has a orange C6 auto, ran a 12.51 @ 111.5 last time out in normal D/A... It'll be running 11s as soon as the Yank goes in, which is being researched right now, and is still stock motor with stock air filter. ;)

I plan on buying the car by my birthday next January, that is the target, as my pops wants a Vert. :rolleyes:

I hear that, but I have a Mustang already, and it sucks in everyway... I grew up around nicer cars though, and a Mustang isn't so nice, whereas the Vette is... like I said, to each his own. I am hoping to pay the C6 off in about 3 years, cause I got my eye on a C6-Z06 or one of those new Jag XKRs... ;)

Anyone need to buy or sell a house so I can hurry up and buy a C6? :D

I thought I wanted a nice coupe. I even drove to Houston with $10 grand cash in my back pocket and a hitch on the back of the Navvy. I was going to buy this guy's car and trailor.
I ended up getting there and figured out...My fat ass is extremely too large for a fox and a 6 point!
This car was nice(347, 3550, nitrous, fast system..blah blah).
Whole thing that made me change my mind....is I had another friend with me,(he owned/owns a vette)...asked me...are you in it for speed or speed and "looks"?

i was in the same boat, spend 10 grand on a bad ass fox, and keep my car, or just trade in my 99 stang and get a z06. picked up a low mile EB z06 and have not regretted it one bit. to each his own.

i'll say that i don't want any of the crow, but it takes a hella quick car to beat a z0 from a punch. i had a 99 stang with some mods and it isn't even close. this thing will flat out get it from a 70-ish punch. again, props to the crow, but i think you'd have to trap 90 in the 1/8 or 118-ish in the 1/4 to give these things a fight from a highway roll. (which obviously the crow can handle) i've been around long enough to know a car can always get you, but my very lightly modded z aint no joke from a roll.

Agreed. but the Stang owners are arguing with the Vette owners, it just can't be preached till they drive one longer than 5 minutes...
