whats going on just curiousThe leaders of the Org. are just tired of all the BS involved in running it. Plain and simple. We need some Nominee's for President. lol I would say that said person would benifit from having negotiating skills and a little business backround. I don't know if they just want someone to step up from inside or if they would let someone come in that has racing experiance as well as the knowledge to get this thing going strong again.

so is ttt.5 going to stick around :(I think it depends on if anyone steps up to take it over. All someone has to do is nominate themself and the drivers vote on it. From what I hear no one has stepped up yet. I am sure someone will though in time. You don't want to be the new president of TTT5? lol

i sure hope it stickes around i love ttt.5 and i have spent all this money and time building a car to fit in their class as so have lots of people i hope someone steps up :(
As much as I hate to say it. i don't think small tire stuff can make it on it's own locally. I needs to try and merge with KOTH or the Pro Mod guys. The small tire stuff just won't pull enough spectators on its own to make tracks want to book em. At least not without a good car count and very good marketing. And I doubt there is money for the later.

I was thinking the same thing.. It would rock if they were there the same night at KOTH

Didn't KOTH used to run a true ten5 class?
Personally I can't imagine why the track wouldn't offer to take it over and make it a monthly series. Offer $5,000 to win it every month and have 1 race a year with $10k payout and you'll get tons of cars to show up.

and also with the same cars winning all the time dont help either

For $5000 you'd see some KOTH cars switching tires. You'd also have some of the s/o FFW and NMRA cars coming out.

for $5,000 there'd be guys coming from Houston, and all over the state...probably surrounding states at times as well. the same cars winning all the times is because the same cars run the class every time, and the same cars stay just as fast usually.

Agreed. I can't believe there is not one track/owner in the DFW area who wouldn't be interested in a monthly heads up series. It could be held on Saturdays, open gates at noon, start time trials at 1pm and race into the night. You could run all the KOTH classes(outlaw 10.5 & the indexes) & all of the TTT5 classes. It could be an event not just a race.

It isnt that it doesnt draw a crowed it has drawn many big crowds. It is the tracks don't take care of the racers and they schedule races on holiday weekends when the is a high school graduation and if there is any possibility of rain thats 3 strikes! and then they wonder why gate count is a little low!
Greed drives them not business sense!
Same weekend as Clash of the Titans to.
