For those of you that are not aware of the new and I mean brand spankin new 1/8 mile track I will let you in...get on 30 East and drive for 20 minutes past Mesquite. Several cars in the 4s...yes 4s. These cars run in the mid to upper7s in the 1/4...ALOT of stangs out there from daily drivers to alcohol burning wildthings! $10 to get in and run...Also running this friday night. If you have any questions call Harry over at Performance Auto Supply in Mesquite...

Yea, there was a lot of people out there. That was the most I have ever seen there. I only made two runs because I did not want to sit in line forever.

What car was yours? The white Camaro and Gold Nova, weather permitting are running this Sunday..one Pass, winner takes $10,000 home. The guy that does some stuf on my car runs the pro shop down there and said it will be a good race.

I called them and got the recording, it's just a $100 for fastest sb/bb, openwheel . If you hear of anyone running the onepass for 10,000 deal, post it up, I want to see that.

I have a white with blue stripes 1969 Nova. If it is for $10,000 I want to see it. The gold nova is real fast. I do not remember what it ran. It will probably be a good race.

I called as well. Same recording. I thought I was imagining the whole thing on the Money race, but my Girlfried said she heard the same thing. I must have had the dates mixed up, but it is going to happen...(I do wonder about her though as she is deaf as a post in one ear, makes me wonder if she was not just agreeing with me to get me be quiet!;) )

I haven't heard anything about that. I know they are going to add more shutdown area. There really isn't enough room to make it a 1/4 unless they buy the plot of land behind it and cut down all the trees. A 1/4 would be cool but it would probably take them another two or three years to finish it. The sign outside the track sayed it would be open Spring 1999 but the did not open untill Winter 2001. And they are still not finished with it.
