Im considering the Sony XAV-1, or the Kenwood DDX-7015.
I didnt even realize Sony made in dash screens for cars, but ive had such good luck with Sony home stereo products, that it caught my eye.
Anyone had any experience with it? Good? Bad?

By virtually all accounts, ALL sony car audio is crap.
The DDX7015 is a nice enough piece, but it's not very user friendly, and lacks alot of features.
If you'd like something with better fit and finish, the Eclipse AVN5435 will put good clean signal into your amps (if you desire to run them), will feel and look 200% better than the kenwood, and has built in navigation, for 1700$.
Outstanding piece of equipment, IMO, probably the best double din for the money, right now.
Pioneer's soon to be released Avic D2 should be a nice piece of gear aswell.

is the eclipse unit 4v preout?
thats what stopped me from buying the kenwood.. well, that and the kenwood name.
nm.. just looked. 5v with touch screen. that makes me happy. i want to see it in person now.
No Sony for me.
The Kenwood piece is cool and looks good in the dash. I like the Alpine IVA-D300 (single DIN) better as far as operation and picture quality.
