Due to some of the more time consuming requirements of my new position, I have brought an assistant to the board to help me with the DFWStangs account.

5STARSTANGER is Ryan Hurley, who is one of my sales guys here and has been a close friend of mine for 20 plus years. He has great product knowledge and is a mustang freak as well.

I will still be in charge of the pricing for you guys as well as overseeing the site as much as I can. As always, if needed, you can reach me on my cell at 817-319-2298. Ryan's cell is 817-939-9164.

Thanks again for your business and we look forward to continuing this great relationship.

We will sell all future SVT vehicles as it stands now. SVT vehicles will no longer be exclusive to certified stores. I'm looking foward to the Sport Trac and the Fusion also. Both will be all wheel drive.

is the fusion a sure thing?? the mazdaspeed6 looks nice, i hope the for version will be as good, plus wont it be out a year before the adreanilin(sporttrac) and the gt500?

The fusion is tecnically a rumor. However I have no doubt it will be produced. Probably the same as that Speed 6. I expect it to come out for 07.

really? i knew the fusion was a rumor still, but i thought for sure the mazdaspeed6 was approved already, since they already have the mazdaspeed protege' and miata out, and a RX8 is in the works.

i gotta keep you on you toes noobie! :p

BTW I've outlasted you here at the store by almost a year. Newbie.

At this rate I'll never catch you in posts!

Not to get off topic, but does that mean that any pre existing SVT vehicles will now be able to take their car in for service to a previously non SVT authorized dealership?

5starstanger
05-11-2005, 07:32 PM
I'm trying to find out right now. I've been wondering myself.

5starstanger

We are currently offering service on Cobras and Lightings even though we were never certified to sell them. The only reason we didn't sell them was the several million dollars in parts you are required to stock, and our Carrollton location was already certified to sell. You can get your SVT vehicles serviced anywhere that has SVT certified tecnicians. Unfortunitely that won't be all dealerships, but most. If you are interested in another dealership doing your work, just call their service department and ask if they can. It should be quick and easy to find out.

That is pretty cool.
Overall it was a bit of a hassle, and pretty expensive. I'm glad everyone will be able to sell now. The head of SVT said they will make enough Cobras to meet demand, so I'm glad we'll all get a chance to sell them now.

Hey, Skip or Ryan, my wife and I are looking to get into an 05 GT (I think). She also likes the Dodge Chargers though. (Sorry).

Anyway, we live up in Ardmore, Ok. Can you make us a deal that would make it worth our time to deal with you instead of locally? (BTW, I can't stand the local dealer. Very independent, arrogant type staff that acts like they don't care if they sell you a car or not! And the service department has no idea what s-e-r-v-i-c-e means!)

Would like to speak to you about a car. Wife says it has to be Auto, black, red leather, Shaker sound, torque thrust style wheels, etc. Those are the essentials.
Give me a call: 1-580-465-1519-- Cell
1-580-226-7070-- Office-- Ardmore church of Christ during the day.
Look forward to speaking with you!

There is only a couple like that showing up in this part of the country. One is most likely not availible, and the other might be. It's in Houston. If it is, they probably won't trade it. If they do, we are selling GT's at $3000 over sticker. I might be able to work a little on price on one that is on our lot. Gt's just aren't out there. If you want one, you probably just need to see what's out there. If your interested in ordering one, we are ordering for 06. They should start hitting the ground in October, but the first six weeks or so will be Mustangs that have already been ordered.
Sorry, demand is still way more than our supply.
