What type of batteries does it take? Do the batteries burn out quick? I wanted to carry it on my shoulder...

do you have the remote? how many watts? I'm assuming it's 180 and not the 1800 that it says on the front.

Yes, I have the remote.

The front says 90w X 2 rms. I think the user's manual lists the actual wattage.

HAH! No, thats what the stereo in the living room is for. :)

Although, last night, i turned this thing up and it suprised the hell out of me. Its loud for a little stereo.

We've had three of those bookshelf stereos. That one really kicks ass compared to the other two.
